Want to know more about Portes du Soleil?

As the Sun begins to pack its bags for its winter break, we are reminded that winter is coming.

But don’t be sad because Snowboxx is just around the corner! We’ve seen the excitement; accommodation at Les Fontaines Blanches apartments have already sold out and our two person packages are nearing the same status. In fact, there’s a very good chance that by the time you’ve finished reading this, that package you’ve been eyeing up might have sold out. So get your skis on, as it were, and book your package today.

Some of you have joined us on previous Snowboxx adventures but we also know some of you are brand new to the family. So we decided to get you all up to speed on the facts of Snowboxx; specifically, the gorgeous setting of Avoriaz.

Situated in the heart of the Portes du Soleil, Avoriaz is one of the top skiing locations in Europe and arguably the largest connected ski area in the world with 650km of incredible pistes, 200 lifts, all spread over 14 valleys and 400 square miles. Enjoy the laid back, cruisey blues of Proclou or the famous La Chavanette – also known as The Swiss Wall – one of the steepest pistes in Europe if you’re looking for a little more action.

Speaking of action, there are also five snow parks to enjoy including La Chappelle; a 500m long snow haven offering a little something for everyone at all levels to Arare Park, which is for the more advanced skier full of big and very big jumps.

This is quite literally just a taste of what you can experience at Snowboxx in 2017. Human bowling, the legendary Avoriaz extreme Snowball fights PLUS over sixty artists performing across the seven days of Snowboxx… We say BRING IT ON!
