Following discussions with the authorities after the latest developments in France, it is with a heavy heart that we announce Snowboxx 2020 has been cancelled. We will contact all ticket holders this week regarding the refund process. This will include a form that will allow you to choose which option you wish to select:
1. Delay your package to 2021
2. Request a refund of your package
3. Change your package to Snowboxx New Zealand [8th to 15th September 2020]
You will receive an email early next week with full information on this.
We want to thank all our customers for being patient during this past week. We have been working very hard to adapt to the exceptional circumstances and we appreciate there has been a lot of uncertainty, but this was a fast-evolving situation and the decision of canceling the holiday wasn’t up to us.
Organising a trip to the Alps for thousands of people that includes several music events in different mountain locations is a very complex task that requires the cooperation of many different businesses and government agencies. We had a commitment to deliver the holiday to the thousands of customers, and hundreds of employees, contractors, suppliers and local businesses that depend on us.
We have done our best to keep our promise but unfortunately, the situation leading to the cancellation of Snowboxx is beyond our control. Ultimately, it is the government who had the final say and we weren’t able to make a unilateral decision to cancel the holiday. Last night they made the call that triggers the process that will enable us to offer refunds or package transfers.
Snowboxx 2020 was set to be our best edition yet and we are really gutted to cancel the event after all the hard work but the wellbeing of all guests, artists and crew is the highest priority. Stay safe and follow the advice of the health authorities to ensure we minimise the impact of the virus. We promise we will be back stronger and better in 2021.
